We are one of the largest Microsoft Gold Partners in Scotland and a Microsoft Direct Cloud Solutions Provider. We are currently looking for a Finance Administrator to join our existing Operations team to cover a Maternity contract for a period of 12 months.

This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Team and wider business units across the Company. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm, hybrid working, requiring two days per a week from the office.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing invoices.
• Issuing Purchase Orders.
• Reviewing and processing general payments.
• Processing internal staff timesheets and expenses.
• Updating internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions.
• Preparing information for internal reporting.
• Purchasing.
• Assisting with payroll process.
• Reviewing and processing payments.
• Dealing with any customer, supplier and internal queries via telephone and email.

As part of the wider Operations team, you will also help the team with general admin support activities such as:

• Answering incoming calls, transferring calls, taking detailed messages when required.
• Arranging taxi’s, couriers etc.
• Assisting with travel and accommodation arrangements when required.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with a proven track record working within a similar role with basic bookkeeping or experience working within a finance team.
• Experience drafting sales invoices for issue to clients.
• Credit control experience.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• First rate communication skills.
• Experience of providing support during financial audit process.
• Xero experience would be beneficial.
