We are one of the largest Microsoft Gold Partner IT Consultancy firms in Scotland as well as being a Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Solutions Provider and we are currently looking to add a permanent Technical Service Delivery Manager to our growing Managed Services team.

We are currently looking to add an IT Project Manager to our team on a permanent basis.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans while ensuring effective project control, including managing project deliverables.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of projects, overseeing their planning and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish project scope, timelines, milestones, and budget, ensuring adherence to the agreed plan.
  • Continuously identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and implement mitigation plans for risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Manage the change control process if required.
  • Ensure team compliance with the Client’s internal policies and relevant governance framework.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones according to agreed specifications.
  • Define and manage testing requirements and activities.
  • Plan resources across multiple teams, including business, technology, and third-party suppliers.
  • Schedule and lead all project meetings, from initiation to completion, including regular and ad hoc site meetings as necessary.
  • Generate and deliver regular project and financial reports to designated stakeholders, highlighting any variances and outlining management or mitigation strategies.
  • Effectively manage client interaction as an integral part of the overall project management process while on-site.
  • Conduct thorough project evaluations and post-project reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.
  • Facilitate initial scoping and assessment of potential project opportunities prior to formal project initiation.
  • Provide coaching and assistance in training and developing peers within the Project Management Office and other team members at Quorum, regarding Quorum’s project management processes and standards.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management within Small, Medium, or Enterprise organisations.
  • Hold a relevant qualification such as PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stream technology projects within specified timelines and budgets, encompassing the full project lifecycle.
  • Exhibit proficiency in effectively managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Display strong leadership capabilities.
  • Showcase portfolio management experience across various project types aligned with a Managed Service delivery model.
  • Ideally, have experience in project delivery within the energy sector, public sector, financial services, and/or legal organisations.
  • It would be advantageous to have tangible experience in handling General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and integrating it into project delivery, including familiarity with the Privacy Impact Assessment process.
